Wait For Her completed its first ever workshop in Ankara, Turkey at the end of March, 2022. Jenna partnered with Turkish director Görkem Eren, choreographers, stage manager Nihan Yilmazer, and 20 Turkish actors and actresses to bring the four most complex scenes and group numbers to life.
It was a resounding success! Our culminating showcase was packed and the audience gave an enthusiastic response to the topic, humor, and music. The Wait for Her team is so grateful for the support of the Turkish-American Association, Nashiha Ahmed, Didem Ruhi my first real-life Ava (lead character), Abdullah, and our talented and hardworking cast! Fast friendships were formed, and it truly felt like a dream come true.
